Introduction to Workplace Injury Law
Workplace injury law refers to any physical or psychological injury, disease, disorder or illness that arises during the course of an employee’s employment.
If you have suffered a workplace injury that affects your ability to carry out normal duties you may be required to participate in an injury management program. This program may include rehabilitation and a plan for your return to work.
These programs are very closely linked to workers compensation schemes as your compliance with an injury management program is generally an ongoing condition of receiving workers compensation payments.
