  • The Australian government have banned a number of motorised vehicles because they do not meet minimum standards for safety in Australia. There is a broad range of motorised vehicles that cannot be registered including:
    • all bicycles which are petrol motorised;
    • motorised foot scooters with or without a seat;
    • mini bikes;
    • motorised human transporters such as WheelMan or SEGWAY; and
    • motorised skateboards.

You can also be fined for using these types of vehicles in public spaces, roads or pathways
