6. Prohibited Vehicles

- The Australian government have banned a number of motorised vehicles because they do not meet minimum standards for safety in Australia. There is a broad range of motorised vehicles that cannot be registered including:
- all bicycles which are petrol motorised;
- motorised foot scooters with or without a seat;
- mini bikes;
- motorised human transporters such as WheelMan or SEGWAY; and
- motorised skateboards.
You can also be fined for using these types of vehicles in public spaces, roads or pathways
