- There are two types of meetings that take place in a strata scheme:
- Annual General Meetings; and
- Extraordinary General Meetings.
- The annual general meeting (AGM) must be held annually and be within 11-13 months of the previous year’s AGM.
- At this meeting the owners’ corporation discusses important issues such as:
- insurance;
- finances;
- election of an executive committee;
- review of the ten-year sinking fund plan; and
- motions that require special or unanimous resolution such as the appointment or dismissal of a strata manager.
