- A licenced managing agent can be appointed by the community association to carry out some or all of the functions of the association.
- It is common practice for community schemes to hire a managing agent.
- A managing agent must keep all records of their work. They must also provide financial details and keep the association up to date with reports of any management functions they exercise.
- An association can dismiss a managing agent who does not perform his or her tasks satisfactorily.
