- If you receive a benefit or service through the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) you must inform the DVA of any changes that may affect your entitlements. For example you should inform the DVA within 14 days if you receive a pension and:
- your residential situation changes;
- the status of your relationship changes;
- your income and assets start to exceed the specified threshold; or
- you intend to travel or move overseas.
- If you receive a remote area allowance then you have 28 days to inform the DVA of any changes.
