    7. Student Visa Documents
  • To apply for a Student visa (subclass 570-575) you will need some or all of the following documents to support your application:
    • your country’s identification card if applicable;
    • a military discharge certificate if applicable;
    • your Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) certificate;
    • evidence that you have paid for Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC);
    • evidence that you have adequate funds for the period of your study in Australia including return airfare, tuition and accommodation:
      • this may be in the form of a bank statement; and
      • non-liquid assets such as property may be acceptable either as collateral for a loan or liquidated and held as a money deposit;
    • if you are being supported by someone else you must include a signed declaration from them stating that they agree to support you;
    • a consent form from a parent is required to grant an Australian visa to a child under the age of 18 years;
    • a police clearance certificate;
    • a signed statement from an education provider stating that appropriate arrangements for your accommodation, support and general welfare have been made;
    • your educational qualifications up until that point; and
    • evidence of employment if you have ever worked.
