&6. CLC decisionsmiddot;         Once the CLC has assessed your application they will make a decision about whether or not they can take on your case. They will write you a letter and tell you what their decision is and why.

·         If the CLC can help you with your case then they will tell you:

o   exactly what they can do to help;

o   what steps need to be taken; and

o   what you need to do to prepare.

·         If the CLC cannot help you with your case then they will:

o   explain the reasons why they cannot help;

o   suggest options about other organisations who may be able to help;

o   give you the contact details of these organisations; and

o   in some cases refer your case to another legal service or external lawyer.
