&3. Finding a CLCmiddot;         You can begin by searching for a Community Legal Centre close to where you live.

o   NACLC has an online map that will show your closest CLCs: http://www.naclc.org.au/need_legal_help.php.

o   Some CLCs are funded to provide services to people who live or work in their region. If you do not live in the region then they will refer you to another CLC that can assist you.

o   Remember that some CLCs do not meet with clients in person so you should ring before you go to one.

·         Next you need to check what areas of law they work in and whether they are funded to help only certain people.

·         You can search the NACLC database to find out if there is a CLC that specialises in your area of law. You can also find out about specialist services that only help people such as youth, the disabled or seniors.

·         Another alternative is to contact your state or territory association and ask them which CLC is most suitable.
