5. Corresponding with the CLC

tyle="margin-left:21.3pt">·         It is important that the CLC can easily contact you about your application. Make sure you give them as many contact details as possible.

o   If you think you may not be available to take a call from a CLC then you may be able to authorise another person to speak on your behalf. For example you may give permission for them to speak to your husband to arrange the first appointment once your application has been processed.

§  You should check with your CLC to see if this is an option.

§  If it is then make this clear in your application and get the other person to sign the application acknowledging they are available to do this.

·         CLCs will often contact you in writing so make sure your postal address is correct and that you check your mail regularly.
