    16. Which Court do I go to?
  • Most driving and traffic cases are heard and determined in the Magistrates’ or Local Court.
  • Serious offences such as dangerous driving causing death or grievous bodily harm are heard and finalised in the District or County Court.
  • If you are unsure or you think your case is serious a lawyer is the best person to give you advice about your circumstances. You can find one near you by using our free Find a Lawyer directory.
