Who can attend a conference at the AAT?
- The people who attend a conference are:
- a tribunal member or Conference Registrar conducting the conference;
- the applicant who made the application for review; and
- the respondent who is usually a representative of the department that made the decision.
- The other people who may attend are:
- a lawyer representing the applicant or the respondent;
- a support person such as a friend or family member; and
- an interpreter who will be provided by the tribunal if needed.
