- The State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) in Western Australia has jurisdiction (authority) over various administrative, commercial and personal matters. This includes:
- commercial and civil disputes;
- development and resource issues;
- human rights; and
- vocational regulation for matters concerning professionals such as architects, medical professionals, teachers and lawyers.
- The tribunal mostly reviews decision made by the state government and its bodies but it also makes original first-instance decisions.
