  • The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) regulates most of the fees associated with companies.
  • Fees are charged for the initial application to register your company as well as a range of ongoing annual fees for maintaining your company's registration and for the lodgement of various documents with ASIC for your annual review.
  • The initial registration fee must be paid to ASIC upon application for company registration. The registration fee for companies is around $500.00 at the time of writing.
  • Annual review fees must be paid to ASIC each financial year along with fees for lodgement of annual company returns, balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other required documents.
  • Late fees are also applied if a company fails to lodge documents on time.
  • ASIC fees range from quite modest amounts around $30.00 to quite substantial amounts over $1,000.00 depending on what document you are required to lodge, the size of your company and the regulations which apply to it.
