- When the subject matter involves national issues then the commission will usually travel around Australia.
- They will likely visit major cities and regional hubs.
- They may also visit remote locations depending on the mandate of the inquiry.
- State or territory commissions will usually hold their hearings in one of their Supreme Court rooms.
