What other roles can an in-house counsel have?
- An in-house counsel may have more than one role and wear more than one ‘hat.’ Most commonly an in-house counsel may also be the company’s company secretary and therefore have a role in the company’s corporate governance.
- An in-house counsel who is not also company secretary may still have a role to play in advising the company secretary on legal issues.
