Will I have to pay anything to the CLC?
- Community Legal Centres provide assistance free of charge.
- If the CLC represents you in court or refers you to a private lawyer for representation then you may have to pay for:
- an expert report;
- court application fees; or
- court-related fees.
- The CLC or private lawyer can help you to apply to the court or tribunal for a ‘fee-waiver’. This is when the registry office does not charge you fees due to special circumstances such as financial hardship.
