7. Lodging Payroll Tax Return

- You must lodge your payroll tax return within 7 days after the end of the month. A remittance for the amount of tax payable must also be submitted.
- If the seventh day is a weekend or a public holiday the return will be due on the next business day.
- You must also lodge an annual reconciliation. This is completed and lodged at the end of each financial year.
- The annual reconciliation reconciles all the taxable wages and any payroll tax liability payments made during the financial year.
- You will have to pay any outstanding tax liability.
