- There is no Australian or international court that determines human rights.
- The remedies which are available to an individual who has a complaint are quite limited.
- You must follow through all local procedures for resolving such disputes before you can make a complaint to an international body.
- This is not very difficult as there are not many opportunities for human rights breaches to be investigated in Australia.
- There is only the Australian Human Rights Commission or litigation in the courts.
