  • There is no Australian or international court that determines human rights.
  •  The remedies which are available to an individual who has a complaint are quite limited.
  • You must follow through all local procedures for resolving such disputes before you can make a complaint to an international body.
  • This is not very difficult as there are not many opportunities for human rights breaches to be investigated in Australia.
  • There is only the Australian Human Rights Commission or litigation in the courts.
