- Depending on what kind of business you operate and what industry you are engaged in there is likely to be a range of registrations and licensing requirements that will apply.
- These licenses are imposed by various levels of government from local to commonwealth.
- Registrations and licensing requirements regulate the way businesses operate if business activities involve for example:
- public safety;
- compliant use of public space;
- building and planning;
- employment related activities; and
- advertising and signage.
- Ensuring that you have all the required registrations and licenses is essential. If you fail to do so you risk your business being closed or subject to penalties.
