Can any person be extradited interstate?

  • Yes. Any person may be extradited to another state provided a valid warrant exists for extradition. A magistrate will determine the validity of the warrant and whether that person should be extradited.
  • You can use our free and anonymous Ask a Lawyer service if you have a particular issue you want to know more about.
