Can I have conditions removed from my licence?

My doctor has said that conditions need to be put on my licence. I've got bad eyesight but I wear contacts so it's not a problem. How can I have these removed?

  • All drivers have to pass an eye test prior to being issued with a licence. Depending on your results an eye test can influence the conditions for you driving. You may have a condition added to your licence noting that you must wear glasses while driving.
  • If your medical condition improves or you have changed to wearing contact lenses instead of glasses you can ask your doctor to review the conditions.
