What will happen now that I have registered for payroll tax?

I am an employer who is liable to pay payroll tax. I registered with the Victorian state revenue office as required. What happens after registration? Will I get some sort of confirmation?

  • The state revenue office will process your registration and provide you with confirmation.
  • It will also send you a registration letter.
  • The letter will contain a customer number for business and instructions for logging into the PTX Express online system where you must lodge your payroll tax returns.
