I recently legally changed the name of my business. Do I need to notify the state revenue office of this change?

  • Yes. You need to notify the state revenue office if any company details change.
  • Details include:
    • the legal name of the business;
    • employer status;
    • contact person; or
    • address of the business.
  • You should log in to PTX Express and click the ‘update your records’ button.
  • After you update your records you may click on submit.
