My business is registered for payroll tax but no tax is payable this month. Do I have to lodge a payroll tax return? What are the consequences of not submitting?

- Yes. You still need to lodge a return. This is called a ‘nil’ return.
- You must lodge a nil return through PTX Express.
- If you do not lodge a nil return you may receive a demand notice.
