Would the sale of the business be considered as connected with his retirement in relation to the 15-year exemption?

A small business operator (aged over 55) sells his business but continues to work in the business as an employee of the new owner.

Since he has permanently ceased to be self employed and has commenced to work as an employee on a much reduced scale, the sale will be considered as being connected with his retirement and he will be entitled to the exemption , unless there are other adverse factors.
