I would like to plead guilty to an assault charge against me. However I would still like legal help as I believe I was provoked and this may reduce my sentence. Can Legal Aid still help me?

- Yes. Legal Aid can provide assistance to you whether you plead guilty or not guilty to an offence.
- Your plea will have enormous repercussions for you including an effect on potential sentencing so a plea decision is best made with the advice of a lawyer.
