Is there a support group for government lawyers?

I am thinking about a career as a government lawyer but I am wondering what opportunities there are for professional development.

  • Government lawyers are able to join the Australian Government Legal Network.
  • This network is administered by the Office of Legal Services Coordination in the Attorney-General’s Department.
  • It aims to provide professional development services to government lawyers as well as creating opportunities for information sharing.
  • The first conference of the Australian Government Legal Network was held in June 2014 and is expected to be a yearly event.
