I am thinking about a career as a government lawyer but I am wondering what opportunities there are for professional development.

- Government lawyers are able to join the Australian Government Legal Network.
- This network is administered by the Office of Legal Services Coordination in the Attorney-General’s Department.
- It aims to provide professional development services to government lawyers as well as creating opportunities for information sharing.
- The first conference of the Australian Government Legal Network was held in June 2014 and is expected to be a yearly event.
