I was quite badly injured while in service. I will be requiring rehabilitation and I’m wondering whether the ADF has some kind of insurance scheme?

- As with other workers you are entitled to claim compensation for injuries sustained in your service to the ADF.
- The ADF has a Military Compensation Scheme that provides compensation and rehabilitation support for members and former members of the ADF.
- There is also the Military Compensation and Rehabilitation Service (MCRS) that manages compensation claims rehabilitation services.
- The MCRS also provides transition management services to assist ADF members who have been discharged on medical grounds to transition successfully back to civilian life.
