Does sending a copy of my work to myself through mail make it copyrighted?

I created this new 3D model of a house and sent it to myself through post. Does this mean that I have copyright protected my work?

  • No. This is a very popular myth. Sending your work through the postal service does not provide any protection to your work at all.
