Can children come to my event if alcohol is being sold?

I am holding an event for Christmas. We are having Christmas carols, food and wine. We want to organise some special children’s activities and make it a family event. I was wondering if children could come along if we are serving alcohol at the event?

  • Yes children are usually allowed to go to events where alcohol is being served.
  • Remember that all children need to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
  • As the organiser you will need to make sure that children are not served alcohol.
