How do I get a tariff concession order revoked?

I am an Australian manufacturer and I want to have a tariff concession order revoked. The goods I produce are almost exactly the same. What can I do?

  • You can complete a Request for Revocation of a TCO form: http://www.customs.gov.au/webdata/resources/files/TYPABLEB4412001.pdf.
  • On receipt of the request Customs will publish a notification in the Tariff Concessions Gazette.
  • Customs will make a decision within 60 days of receiving your request. Their decision will be based on the information provided in the request and other enquiries that they have made.

If the tariff concession order is revoked the revocation will be in place from the date your request was received.
