Will I get arrested?

I missed my court date. How do I find out if there is a warrant out for my arrest?

  • You can either make enquiries yourself or ask a lawyer to do it on your behalf.
  • If you call the court registry at the court where your matter was listed they can tell you what the outcome was and what the judge or magistrate ordered. They can tell you if a warrant has issued for your arrest.
  • You can also call the police officer in charge of your case or have your lawyer do it.
