What are the reporting obligations of liquidators to shareholders?

I’m a shareholder of a company that has entered liquidation. When will I receive a report from the liquidator regarding the progress of the liquidation?

  • Liquidators are not required to keep shareholders updated on the status of the liquidation.
  • You may wish to seek tax advice regarding the effect of the liquidation on your shareholding.
